Good Neighbor BBQ The purpose of the Good Neighbor BBQ is to simply love our neighbors and the local businesses that surround our church in a very practical manner by providing a free, hot lunch on the third Wednesday of every month.
We invite you to join us in the preparation, feeding, eating and fellowshipping with our neighbors. The setup begins about 9 am and cleanup is finished by around 2 pm. We would love to have you for any or all of this time. Please call or email the church office for more information on how to get involved in this community outreach.
Food Pantry and Baby Share The Food Pantry is available to anyone in temporary need for groceries, we also appreciate any donations to help stock our food pantry. The Baby Share offers a wide variety of children's clothing, strollers, car seats and much more. We also appreciate your generous donations and ask that when you do donate to the Baby Share, drop off during Wednesday and Thursday appointed hours and please bring clean donated items. We are also here to pray with you and for you.

People's Kitchen serves a hot meal to the needy in our area every day of the year from 12-1pm. Currently this is being held at the Shouts of Grace Church on Grand Avenue and 7th Street in Grover Beach. This location is a temporary location and People's Kitchen is seeking a permanent location to call their own. The meals are prepared at people's homes and brought to the location. There are many churches involved in People's Kitchen. A different group plans, shops, gathers volunteers, cooks and serves every day. The people that attend the meal can come with no questions asked. Some are homeless but others are mentally or physically challenged, elderly or just low on funds. We welcome them all with the love of Jesus.
The Five Cities Vineyard Church has served for People's Kitchen for many years. Our day is the 4th Thursday of every month, always on Thanksgiving. Set up is from 11:30 and clean up is over no later than 1:30.
There are many ways you can help both on our day or even before. Also, many employers will pay for their employees to take time off to do a great community service. For the past six years, Debbie and Ed De Temple have been the leaders of this great ministry. Please contact them at 805-474-8990 to find out more ways you can help.
